Righteous vs Evil
Memory Verse: Proverbs 15:29 “The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.”
Who is righteous?
Romans 6:23, 3:23
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
When compared to God who is righteous above all others, we are as filthy rags, our job is to cleanse the world through preaching and teaching Gods word, Matthew 28:18-20 but a filthy rag does not cleanse, it cannot do its job….nothing but Christ can make a man right. John 14:6
Man cannot stand righteous before God without Christ.
This is why Christ had to die for our sins, we could never become right on our own.
How do we gauge what is and is not right? How do we tell right from wrong?
Psalm119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
God’s relationship with the righteous.

God communicates with, illuminates, provides for, and protects the Righteous.

What about the man in the middle?
Can I be righteous and not condemn evil?
To those who say that we should be righteous but only when it does not offend those who are not, homosexuality, abortion, drinking, drugs, fornication, divorce, etc.
Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
NEVER stand in the middle or on the side of the wicked to chastise the righteous, God is on the side of the righteous
